Good afternoon, Senator:

... Anavex Life Sciences (Anavex) of New York City made a presentation at an Alzheimer's Disease conference in San Diego over the weekend.

Attached is a post-presentation write-up on a new drug called Anavex 2-73 (2-73).

The data presented demonstrates that 2-73 improves the lives of Alzheimer's victims in both terms of social interaction and mental acuity. As an add-on to the write-up, I have attached comments from caretakers of those trial participants that indicate the impact 2-73 has had on that person.

I know this is asking a lot, but with the onerous cost that the United States is incurring each year to fight Alzheimer's, I was wondering given your working relationship with Governor/VP-elect Pence, whether you would share this with him and possibly raise the profile of 2-73 (which is very safe to take) within the Trump/Pence administration and get some traction from the FDA and other government agencies.

I would understand that this method might not be the proper protocol, but the beneficial value of 2-73 to our health system might be incalculable, not only in terms of money, but more importantly, in terms of saved lives of victims and the impact on their families.

Senator, to answer that question forming in your mind, "Yes," I am an investor in Anavex and have been for more than 6 years and have followed its development very closely since 2010. My family lost my Mom's sister to Alzheimer's back in the late 1980's and I am anxious for a drug that would limit and stabilize this disease. I think this might be that "magic pill."

I hope you can help, Senator; it would be a great service to many people across the world.
