Hey maybe TMMI was actually doing what they just said. They have been quietly preparing the next generation technology that is leaps better than the clunky previous technology.
The lawsuit was actually a diversion as they prepare and put the pieces together for the real push. Perhaps the DFI deal was to acquire something more than just the VDK 2.0. Just maybe it was to keep certain interests occupied and attention away from what is really going on.
In the famous words of TMMI CEO overheard at the trial, all 'TMMI needs is a lab'. This may mean they have been developing a tech that 'sells itself'.
Time will tell.
