Maybe Marsala isn't so crazy. Where do we stand if Nokia prevails: No money from the two bigest in 2G (Nokia and Mot) and many smaller fish; only one paying 3G customer (NEC) - who is going to start to wonder why he is paying.

Well, Nokia won't prevail you say? First IDCC needs to win three times for us to come out of this victorious. 1) we need to win the court motion; and the subsequent appeals - remember this a stall move by Nokia and that almost guarantees appeals if they lose. 2) we need to win the arbitration; no split the baby stuff but a clear message to Nokia to pay what they owe, not matter how much they don't like it. 3) We have to win the ensuing battle of our management's tendency to back down when pushed; they have to force Nokia to sign for 3G at reasonable rates (not discount for being such nice guys)or stop production. Without such an attitude IDCC with suffer that same fate in 3G as they did in 2G - no matter how good the IP is.

I'm not sure that we can win this triple header. That's why I have been selling.
