12:38 (Dow Jones) An analyst who had been bullish on InterDigital Communications (IDCC) is more skeptical since Nokia (NOK) recently requested arbitration of a royalty dispute. Frank Marsala of Halpern Capital previously valued InterDigital at $30 to $35, but today lowers the number to $12. He had considered IDCC's earlier patent settlement with Ericsson (ERICY) to be a watershed event that marked a new era and eased the way for other lucrative royalty deals; IDCC described the settlement that way. "I'm in more of a `show me' phase than I was before," he says. IDCC down 0.5% at $16.56. (DWB)
