It's funny (actually sad) but we seem to be talking past each other. You seem to confuse someone being educated with someone having intelligence. Me doth think you have another agenda and it's a dislike of people who are different from you.

There are many legacy children who suck at the teat of their parents successes and have been accepted at many fine institutions yet I would not say they were as intelligent as many of the applicants who were rejected.

I point out our current President who was a legacy at Phillips Andover, Yale, refused at Univ Texas for entrance at graduate school, accepted at Harvard for MBA. I suspect at Harvard you would classify him as a dullard compared to his classmates now wouldn't you? And that would be the proper way to use the term.

You think someone is a dullard if they haven't had the chances that you have had in your life and if they haven't the pedigree that you think you have. Well that just tells me you don't know the difference between someone who is ignorant about a subject (of which you as an individual can certainly be called ignorant in many subjects as can I) and someone who is stupid.

Painting with a broad brush about classes of people has throughout history shown that racism and bigotry are alive and well within your heart and I can say that by your posts you show your ignorance of those topics.

Now if you would like to say - our President is a dullard I would accept a comment like that. If you would like to say all Italians are dirty or Dullards I would reject that as a stereotype based on bigotry. If you would like to say all Mexicans are dullards that is the same racism and bigotry raising it's head. You are a fine conservative and would be welcomed in the Republican party.
