I think what Dr Perry meant was exactly what he said. "Baseline" is a medical and research term for comparing to an initial level. That is week 0 for our trial and indeed how the term has been used correctly and consistently in our PRs and posters. And the excerpt you cite is, unsurprisingly, consistent with what the PR also says about "several points above historical control"; the control's line on the chart would show a drop that is sizable by week 41.
