Reading into it I'd say yes. Typically in cased like this the lawyers get the best of both worlds in fed cases. They get fees and a part of the judgement. They don't lose for sure. Since the fed case was adjudicated the lawyer gets paid. SA has to pony up since he settled the state case and served up the fed case as a good faith to bring it to close. Meaning ifus and mw pays nothing.
