Hi Toofuzzy, You asked a question and I thought about it.

1) What do you want to own long term? Broad market (large, small, foreign, reit, bonds) or industries? If industries, which ones?

None, no single area or industry. I am quite agnostic about the market and try to not attach any special desires to any position. Everyone says getting attached is quite bad for the pocket book.

What I am looking for is a combination of volatility, market cap (low per AAII suggestion), value (not growth in general as value seems to beat it - look at Warren Buffet's ideas), dividends, and very low to extremely low chance of going under, either as an individual position or ETF/ETN.

I also look at what everyone here is doing and seeing how it works.

Thanks for your input.

I hope your Thanksgiving was as interesting as mine. I went to a Pinoy Thanksgiving with my Filipino friend and had a great time. So much food I could barely get through just tasting it it all. And then I watched them play Mahjong while they joked in Tagalog. I was one of only two Anglos there, out of over 30 people and, I'm told, that a lot of jokes were made about the two of us. Lots of laughter.

Best,

Allen
