Ty, very interesting. What that tells us, is that shares are in short supply, to buy. If the market makers had enough shares to fill your order as soon as you placed it, it would have been filled in one go. The point of three partial fills as they're called shows that market makers didn't have enough to fill your order so had to scramble to get them, to sell them to you.
