Li would lose his investment also.

Li would not lose any of his investment, Taking the company private would give Li more control, more profits too.

Steipp could stop nothing if he stayed. The initial golden parachutes were voted on and execute almost two years ago. Steipp and the board of directors have been courting this Li for a long time. All of this happened on Steipp watch. He was instrumental in all of this. They voted for the share increase. They accepted the first trench of money. They made sure the the stipulations were met to get the rest of the money. He had to have felt good about how his situation would turn out in order to go along with it.

I believe based on Li's track record of being very out front with his intentions makes me believe that he will continue to keep us informed on everything that doesn't involve Apple.

The reason we view this move negatively now is because Stepp is gone and now we have no Nemesis for Li. Now we have to realistically evaluate Li and his motives without the Steipp bias. We are so use to being disappointed by management that it is hard to see any good in this development. Imagine how we would view this management change if we had never put on Steipp colored glasses

-The Golden parachute was amended this year, under Steipp’c Control. "In March 2016, the Company entered into amended Change of Control Agreements with certain of its executive officers.”
-Agree, Steipp feels good about the future of his shares or else he would have put up a fight and stayed.
-We all really don’t know what Li plans, only Li knows what Li will do, thats why its a worry right now.
-Those that were complaining about Steipp are the Penny Players/Manipulators, Soon they will start on Hauck.

Steipp orchestrated his own departure. He was not forced out. He prepared for this. He knew it was coming. He is a snake. He looked out for his own interests which has been his main objective the last 6 years. Li can't be any worse. Either way if he is we were doomed to lose it all from the start. Steipp had all the knowledge and insider info. He only enriched himself over the last five years the door can't close fast enough for me on the era of lqmt

-Yes Steipp did orchestrate his own departure, he must be very confidant that Li can’t take over LMT, but until we have a new BOD, we have no guarantees.
