You bring up a good point, regarding WLAN not really caring about the pps at this point. I'm 99.99% sure, the original restriction period was for 1-year, and they MAY have FREELY chosen an additional 6-month period. If the aforementioned holds true, that would rule-out any nefarious intent; at least it would for me. Now, and I can't say this would definitely apply to WLAN, I have also been reading that good/successful CEO's do not concern themselves w/ pps, but growing the company instead; the pps taking care of itself in the process (not wanting to put the cart before the horse and all). Hmmm...

Frustrating/CONFUSING on some fronts, however, YES.
