No. COR is just flailing around trying to get the money it lost from somebody. Anybody. It doesn't care who.

Well, anybody but DTCC. It could have sued them, claiming they incorrectly attached due bills to stock that didn't qualify for the dividend. But for some reason they don't want to do that.
