it does look like oil production will peak and we will be paying higher prices for oil. However, when and if the US ever decides the best thing to do for security is to begin a reasonable energy policy, which takes us to a level where oil is a part of the energy picture, but not the whole enchilada, then we will see prices start to ease.

As for the predictions of suburban blight, I think the abiltiy to work remotely allows and will continue to expand the flexibility we have in our work force.

I live in a small town in Georgia, and work from home. In order to travel I go to the airport, but even this is starting to be supplanted by video meetings, etc. The wireless boom will increase this phenomenon.

Hope ERHE proves some reserves soon!
