that would be a bad idea unless it was huge money, and plus it's still patented by one of the members of the team with no changes to the patent itself, so i don't think it changed hands. On top of that it would mean that they would lose the licencing money with the big companies they claimed to be working with. Overall it would be stupid to sell the patent unless like i said for very very large amounts.

A more reasonable explanation is that protect id is only available for corporate right now, and not the general public; which Guardedid and Mobile trust is. it wouldn't benefit them to put protect id on the website because they can't really sell it to the avg joe.
