Sure they are running on fumes, but where will this late raise be going. Lets do a mock up model:
$5M collected and spent on supposedly Phase II.
Does that mean nothing will go to:
Administrative costs like salaries:
$300k would be possibly someone's salary
$300k could be another's salary
who knows how many other thousands to family and friends working there?
So basically $1M down the drain.
How about the Cognate debt or the Sawston payment or any utilities etc.
Funny I though LP under the Toucan brand was a world class financier, surely such a financier could obtain a temporary short term bridge loan to get them to the next few months because as MD unequivocally states they are inches from he finish line, right MD. You are talking to mgmt daily these days publicly announcing what mgmt intends to do without mgmt saying anything in writing other than what is int rating in their filings.
This is all my opinion of course.
