ok, thanks for the exhaustive reply. the only nit I'll pick is about the attorneys, they will not work on contingency forever, their costs are mounting constantly as they await a decision and the partners will only allow it to go on for so long. they realize, as some others don't, that nothing in the legal system is a sure thing, they will settle for less, take their money and go on to the next thing. their interest in shareholder value is not the top priority for the law firm, the ongoing costs are coming out of partners' pockets and they expect results, sooner rather than later.
