Interesting article in Computerworld today about the IBM Watson tech and how they are expanding it.
Watson Tech article

Seems like Yippy is a prime target for acquisition to further enhance their Watson tech dominance, giving them sole ownership of the technology.

IBM employees coming on board could be their way of assuring they are getting what they expect.
