By that time MW had thrown the company into turmoil, it finally became confirmed that MW flushed the patent away, Walthers was clearly defaulting on the loan, and the Boom Bros were really frozen out of management decisions.

One cannot put a confirmed con man like Walthers in charge of a company and expect any thing different that what has happened.
