Hi SF Security
Macro Aim is lke the MACD in that one looks at it on a chart.
However, it does not need to monitored daily.
Actually, after a stock has been considered for actual purchase,
I would look at the MACD to see if the lines or converging or diverging.
If converging, a purchase is made at the crossover point.
In the past i did not use the MACD. I purchased on a positive uptick after a downward move.
Here are some posts where i pointed out the merit of the Macd crossover.
Read post 40448 where the only stock that qualified for a MACD crossover was GORO.
Post 39062 talks about not buying SDRL because of its MACD divergence.
Post 38108 , you posted the value line high growth list where i found only one stotck that was at its MACD crossover point. BJRI.
It was $36.00 and went up to$50.00.It reversed its trend and stopping one out at$41.00.

Observe how one is out of the stock when the MACD makes a bearish crossover.
This could be the beginning of a deep diving event in which one will not participate. Note May 2012 to April 2014.
The beauty for me is that it is visual. It is worth exploring .
As for me, I am convinced.
