I disagree. It's someone's opinion. Not objective. When someone constantly states "let's look at this objectively" they are using an 11th grade debating technique intended on presenting theory or opinion as fact.



What is the definition of "objective" to you? You contrapose "opinion" as meaning opinions cannot be objective. For something to be objective, it needs to correspond correctly to the object stated based on "objective" (outside, concrete) facts.

Opinions are "objective" when based on facts and not eschewed by irrational emotion. So if you want to say that what has been stated is not objective, please point out what does not line up with factual, non opinionated reality. Don't propose some opinionated interpretation of something you may have learned in HS.

Please state the facts of what is incorrect.
