that is true. but thursday - tuesday can be quite difficult to trade the week before oe.

note that

today close higher than yesterday's close.
today high higher tha yesterday's high.
up volume greater than down volume. ( selective buying going on)

forget the price for a moment- that information by itself tells a tale, and if i didnt see the price action today, i'd say there was a pretty decent chance this woud be a good day for longs. price does change that,of course, but there is still an undercurrent here.

not so easy to telegraph the market's intentions, though there is a down bias here. doesnt mean it is necessarily a straght line.
