Let's try it from another side. T. Ichim resigned as RGBP's CSO last year because of illness. Even though this illness was never a reason to end one of his engagements for other companies. Then just 3 weeks later he suddenly resurrected as CSO at Batu Biologics.
Assumed his illness was real what could be his contribution for RGBP beside all his other engagements without sharpen his illness? Obviously not much, right?
If you assume his illness was an excuse to leave Koos and the gang the answer to the question is probably the same.
