I actually don't think the FDA "helicoptered" in. I have been like many others here looking for the "why". Also trying to keep in mind LP saying something along the lines that perhaps the halt was not necessarily for a bad thing. To me, and I certainly do not pretend to be an expert, but wouldn't it be possible someone said, "why add a subject if we KNOW this isn't gonna work, let's use who we've already enrolled". Just 1 possibility of many or NOT a possibility at all.
