Yes, it is different. Non-disclosure agreements prevent, say, an ex-employee about discussing what the company plans to do, what its trade secrets are, and the like. I think non-disparagement agreements are much more rare. In Trump's case, they prevent people who've worked for him from saying nasty things about him.
