Except if it wasn't retail that was buying the gap won't close.

My theory - Biogen info leaked so shorts ran a Hail Mary play, taking the stock down from $8. Except for the programmed trading, volume remained low until the spike up just before the annnouncement and then the announcement. Further details on Biogen's plans for 2-73 could take this back to $8 in a heartbeat.

Whatever leaked and caused such an extreme takedown must be pretty impressive. Shorts who don't cover will be dead meat by the end of the year.
