The video from 2 days ago says their using their proprietary hydrogen production particle, which consists of a high voltage solar cell encapsulated in a protective catalyst coating integrated into a membrane separator. It's the coating that allows so many hours of H2 production in corrosive water. They say the solar cells their using are expensive and they are integrating their own low cost high voltage solar cell component. Sooo what's the problem here? How is it that nothing has changed because as far as I can tell that was not the goal from the last video demonstration they did a long time ago. If that's the case then clearly this demonstration has something new to offer does it not? They are vague no details about anything but the goal of a low cost solar cell is new as far as I can see. They took care of the corrosivity problem, tweaked voltage, photocurrents, etc, now their working on bringing the cost down for the whole project. That seems like progress to me so what's the problem? Am I missing something here?
