Problem is that with otc stocks you can only reasonably hold a limited position..unless you are long and breaking position apart in pieces. With most unless trading in the .00 and .000 range it's hard to hold millions of shares unless there is serious trading action on stock, without serious trading action, one trader can seriously crash the price of a stock by unloading a large position at the bid because many times won't be enough support to absorb it. If you take time and piece it apart in a way not to disrupt market it works. Others may have varying opinions, but under a nickel , 1000.00 - 20000.00 worth (depending on volume) is generally a safe range..if you are blessed to have a run of luck, I would caution having tens of thousands tied up in a penny stock...we all love the game and risk involved but you always have to be cautious to not have a position so big that you can't reasonably exit on the "bid" if you needed to
