I could get into a long debate on whether or not there is manipulation taking place. IMHO it is hard to explain price drops of > 30% when the stock was still in the $3-$5 range on no-news days. Also you see action taken against people like Martha Stewart to make it look like they are tough enforces . . . but name just 1 big firm that has gone to jail over manipulation? The get some fine that is a small fraction of the money they made and it is just the cost of doing business for them. Until people are prosecuted and put in jail there is no disincentive.

Explain to me why no action was taken against AF's boss?
