Something is up. I have been out of the loop in Japan this week, but checked the Cafe Pharma message boards, where company employees communicate anonymously and can complain. Keep in mind the context of the following is the current sudden and dramatic increase in volume and price starting 9/23, and the company's recent changes to raise cash and eliminate debt, insuring that R-IT can get completed. It clearly is not shutting down for business.

My manager, told me to start puting out my resume and cover my tracks. She said it doesn't look good for us and the severance package isn't going to be generous.

They have a managers meeting next week.

That last message was dated Sept. 8, so the apparently unusual managers meeting would have been held sometime before Sept. 16, one week before the price started moving. Putting 2 and 2 together, this makes me strongly suspicious that there is a buyout or at least a partnership with a different company to distribute V that must be in the works, and that news has leaked out. I think the recent volume and price movement upward is based on leaked information about this. We may hear something relatively soon, but don't be surprised if price and volume continue to rise based on no apparent news, until things get finalized. Or, I could be totally wrong.
