I received another email which stated the amount of active ingredients are the same in each capsule. He also stated the following:

The active ingredients are identical, although one requires you to take a minimum of 4 capsules a day, the other only 2 capsules a day as you pointed out.

RecalMax™ recommended daily dosing is equivalent to 2.5 g (2 capsules) of L-Arginine for cognitive health

Vesele is 5.0 g (4 capsules) of L-Arginine for sexual health. The maximum dosing (not recommended to exceed) of 6 capsules is equivalent to 7.5 g of L-Arginine.

The other ingredients are the same, but in different quantities. Thus the formulation is different. They are different products which met different endpoints in trials. Should you have any additional questions about the product, you may wish to contact the company directly.

The above is confusing because if you look at the serving size it states 2 capsules of Vesele and for Recalmax the serving size is 1 capsule. I always assumed serving size would be a daily requirement.

But the following comes from their suggested amounts:

Take 1 or 2 capsules twice daily.
Do not exceed 6 capsules daily.
