If they were ok with the first 8 mill like you said why wouldnt they be ok with the rest??!?

I hear you loud and clear, but if you knew the hoops on the 8, you'd be shocked just the 8 came through. I agree, I don't know that the 55 will come in, but unfortunately, no one has control over that, except for powers way above all of them.

Look around, I know resources are somewhat limited online, but I went way above that - this just does NOT happen. The original 8 does NOT happen - nowhere, no how, will you find another company of this size getting an investment of over 50K, let alone 8 mill from a private Chinese investor.

To me, the more daunting prospect is that it's getting even harder now, not easier. Sure, they always seem to find funds somewhere, but getting 55 mill - when it NEVER happens - from a Chinese private investor, when all know he has manufacturing experience, he's a businessnessperson (albeit in gov't controlled China), and even more significant - BMG experience means there appeared to be perfect synergies. This would have put LQMT on a lot of screens. If it doesn't happen, it would obviously not be a positive, but if it does, it would be more than positive.

Personally, I think the 55 will happen if Lugee can reach a deal with the Chinese, but the U.S. is now setting up roadblocks to investment too. The preferred timeframe would be for this deal to close before the November elections because that will throw everything up in the air regarding ANY Chinese investment.
