Apple didn't have to sign off on this deal for it to happen. Li has to follow the rules as set by the MTA between Apple and lqmt. Just like any other company would. I've read the terms. The cross licensing agreement is between the two companies. Li as a board member can still direct contracts made by liquidmetal to his manufacturing company. There is nothing in the agreement that prevents that from happening. That would allow lqmt to receive royalties from licensing and manufacturing. It's a win win. Apple doesn't care about this deal as long as it's not involving CE
