Toofuzzy, thanks for your patient and understanding reply! I have been looking at it today, and i can see the danger in UVXY! I also agree, this type of volatility does not have a place in the true AIM ideal, but i was thinking greedy and looking at a day trading type situation. I currently have a job where i am on the computer all day, and i admit i am a bit of a ticker watcher! I am concerned right now that the market is due for a correction, for numerous reasons. I am in NUGT and JNUG for short periods, and actually when i get a sell signal, i usually sell ALL my holdings because i am taking the profit and running! However, i do not tell that to my AIM 'account' and virtually follow it until i get a substantial BUY signal, then i buy back in as if i was still fully invested. I think(?) that is a hybrid idea like the AIM-HI, but I might be think of another one. Also, i am only 'playing' with a very small portion of my holdings, so i am only risking what i can afford, and still feel some of the adrenaline of day trading!! Lol, and this is all taking place in an IRA so i am not worried about the tax implications. I am generally in sector ETF's and now that i have got my act back together and have a good AIM program again, i feel things are being well taken care of by MR. Lichello!
Thanks again for he help, and your great help to all who ask. I hope i can pay it forward someday.
