I'm trying to play catch-up here. In short, what is the near-term catalyst that you are all waiting for? TIA. --- Senderos

near-term catalyst?
Ironically, folks here have been waiting for "near-term" catalysts to happen .... on and off for several years. Not too many have actually materialized.

* Hospital Exemption in Germany ... no recent updates provided nor expected
* PIM in UK ... no recent updates provided nor expected
* Conference being attended by NWBO in September ... folks here are speculating that perhaps some news or update will be provided in September.
* Phase III on DCVax-L ... has been on a screening hold (while trial continues for patients already enrolled) ... NWBO has not provided info on what caused the screening hold & when it might be lifted
SEC ... NWBO stock currently in non-compliance ... no updates provided recently nor are updates expected to be imminent. Also might relate to the shares that Cognate received under Most Favored Nation.
* Investigation (internal affairs? Phase V report allegations? Both?) ... an update regarding the ongoing investigation seems long overdue. Timeframe completely unknown on when investigation results might be announced.
* Phase II combination trial(s): NWBO has hinted a bit in a PR that some combination trials with some miscellaneous other products with some miscellaneous other partners might be in planning phase, with some budget figures being worked up etc ... but timing is completely unknown at this point when any such combo trial(s) might commence. And who the possible partner(s) might be. And who shall pay for what portion of the trial expenses. SEC filing has indicated that NWBO would intend to seek additional funding (causing additional dilution) if/when these combo trials might commence. Oh, and it is speculated that these combo trials likely involve DCVax-Direct (which seems to make sense).

Note: NWBO seems to be in a silence period .... not providing any updates at all, recently. Other than announcing a scientific board & a few other tidbits.

Above are just some bullet points to help you get some of your own DD started. Whether any catalyst might occur "near-term" is anyone's guess. On the risk side: NWBO is known to have a current low level of cash, and even though the cash-burn has been indicated to be decreasing ... there is still risk that near-term additional funding needs can lead to further dilution and further downside pressure on stock price. Without any news .... I would say it is quite possible that we have not yet seen the bottom of share price. So news is needed sooner than later.
