Based on the discussed improvement of 3 hours to 13 that's 3 to 4 times. Realize battery life is dependent on the amount of current required for an application. The amount of voltage is a different issue. The labs are possibly trying to optimize the battery for different applications. The video camera application is a stable voltage and current application. I think they have already meet that goal since they are making 100 batteries.
Auto applications are significantly different requiring high voltage and current on demand.
