Another possible take on the current situation:

- Large options grants were in lieu of pay for top management (since we're out of money).
- Exercise price was set high enough to put their feet to the fire to get this show on the road.
- Valvo was included in the options grant because they're bringing him back on to fill Dr. Fowler's shoes?
