Organo gold I think is the mlm company.

True about biz over the past 50-100 years. Many aspects of doing business was much better than the climate for business today.

Jack Rockwell I believe is different in that it as a formula patent for coffee. Two other formula patents exist. "Espresso" in 1822 and "instant" in 1901. Then there is Jack Rockwell's in 2011. In my humble opinion, that means something. A game changer for this company. If IDGC can pull through with an agreement with them, IDGC could profit and thus, its investors. Only time will tell.

I think I read here some time ago, not even SBUX has a patent on coffee. True. Most coffee establishments replicate themselves to a large degree. SBUX is no different. However, they did buy a company back in '09 that manufactured the Clover coffee brewer. It sold to coffee establishments for about $12K. When SBUX bought it, they wasted their money because it turned out to be a rather flawed design. Paper filter, takes about 5mins. to produce a cup, is not self cleaning, among other deficient aspects of it's design that is not cost effective. Jack Rockwell has not "replicated" the market. They have made whats on the market better. The have patents to prove such. USPTO doesn't give out patents for no reason. One really need prove their case in order to be awarded a patent. What differentiates SBUX is how they roast their coffee. They roast a little hotter and a little longer than what is customary. That gives them their "unique" flavor.

So yes, IMHO, Jack Rockwell could prove to be a very viable player in the $80 billion dollar coffee market.

GLTA - Off to the weekend!
