SmartCork™: Redefining Natural Cork
CorkGuard (Holdings) Limited announces the launch of SmartCork™, a brand new range of cork closures that provides wine makers with all the benefits of natural cork with none of the downsides.

Using the CorkGuard™ membrane technology, the range is designed to deliver superior results, giving wine makers the confidence that their wines will taste exactly as they intended.

The SmartCork range of natural corks has been developed to address key issues which have dogged the cork industry for decades. Taints from TCA and cork dust are eliminated while still allowing and regulating optimum oxygen transmission.

All corks in the SmartCork™ range have both ends sealed with the patented CorkGuard™ membrane. This is proven* to be more effective at delivering fresh and fruity flavours than even the best natural cork.

There are currently two types of SmartCorks available in the range: Reference 3 natural cork and colmated cork. Both come in two sizes: 44mm length x 24mm diameter and 38mm length x 24mm diameter.
