(WY)—US single-family home sales at highest rate since 2007:

Purchases of new single-family homes rose 12.4% in July from [June]…to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 654,000, the Commerce Department said Tuesday. That was the highest level since October 2007.

…New-home sales in July were up 31.3% from a year earlier.

…Through the first seven months of the year, new home sales rose 12.4%, compared with the same period in 2015.
