Some time ago I did a post here posing the question relative to indemnification. All remained silent on that one. The point being, does a State of Florida Recovery Contract indemnify the salvor from any or all claims made by a foreign nation (example Spain). After all, they control the conditions/regulations of recovery and are the would be recipients of a percentage of proceeds. So would SFRX be that ignorant as to enter into contract without indemnification?

Another thing to know. At the UNESCO Underwater Cultural Heritage Treaty conferences in Paris back in 2000, it was brought out tat even a Spanish merchant ship, if assigned artillery belonging to the Crown would be considered a warship. I'm sure SFRX has retained competent maritime attorneys who are on top of all this?
