I'm not sure I understand - the profit seems like it would be high, all you're buying is a cardboard box with a sheet of paper inside with a link printed on it -what's eating into the profit (other than routine overhead)? So, that's low cost, and each year's renewal, after the first, is more profitable, with no more packaging or physical distribution costs to consider.
