Professor Li set up a Liquidmetal company in order to make this a business transaction rather than a personal investment.

Not buying this johnny come lately post as the rationale for the delay. Something deeper going on here. The Chinese government would love to have access to all of these patents. They would not put a wrench in the deal for this type of technology, unless, of course, it was worthless.
