Sounds like a possibility.

If this is indeed is what is happening it's possible Li, liquidmetal, and Apple could be in the process of agreeing to and negotiating an amended MTA, as well as TTA (in our benefit).

This could explain some of the current delay in finalizing the deal with Li, and also why news of the Apple extension has not been announced.
