I used to think Tom Steipp was just being planted to do nothing because Apple was scared he'd completely screw up.

Apple: Tom, don't touch anything!
Tom: you mean we do t have to do anything?
Apple: we will handle patents and research and development. Now, get out of the way.

But maybe I am wrong. I just really was excited to see this technology develop and monetize it at the same time. How great would it be if Apple all of a sudden renews their agreement..
