since it is an overnight deal, you would assume that they have 80-90% spoken for already (otherwise it would be tough to do overnight for a small company like AMRN). The price range of 10-15% discount to the close suggests that there are some price sensitive orders in the book (ie. at 2.85 i buy 5M, at 2.90 i buy 4.5M at 3 i buy 3M). Brokers are now trying to stir up additional demand and see if they can "fill" the deal at the higher end of the range or up size the deal. All about supply/demand. Where it prices and size of deal will be good indications of institutional appetite out there. If it prices at 2.85 and $55M, I would not be rushing to buy the shares. If it prices at 3 and 60M+, I am buying when it opens.
