I have two definitions for
Low FLoat " Stocks..
One definition is that there simply are NOT THAT MANY SHARES ISSUED or OUTSTANDING..Anavex with 35,000,000 shares issued and outstanding in my book does NOT QUALIFY as a low FLOAT STOCK..
#2..would be even IF , a fair amount of Stock were Authorized, Issued and Outstanding..say like 35,000,000 shares..IF Insiders(Family-Owner-Trust-Employees) Owned a 30-50% or higher stake,,THEN I would consider Anavex a Low Float stock.
AS a Super Majority of Anavex Stock Trades I would NOT COnsider this a low float stock, NOR a tightly held Stock..that is ONE REASON WHY short Cabal so effective..
Not ONLY do you have a Majority of 35 Million Shares availabel to trade..teh Short Cabal may add 1 to 5-6 Million trade shares on any given day.

A Small Float stock would be under 15 Million shares with 10 Million or less trading(IMO)
If someone wre comparing the # of Shares of Anavex and American Registered Stock to an aUstralian Registered stock , THAN I could see where you might call Anavex "Low Float", but since they trade on Different exchanges I don't feel this would be a proper comparison for Investors.
