I emailed Kevin from IR regarding your post. I needed a little clarity myself. I have asked him a number of questions recently and he gets back to you very quickly. See below. Hope it helps.

"The largest is derivative liability associated with funding. There is a very specific accounting way that the company must use for any funding. Although more complicated, fairly simply any shares or warrants issued must be marked to market and the difference between actual price, if higher, and issued price must be taken as a loss. It is not an operational or cash loss, as the company actually received $3 million in funds plus a potential of $1.2 million more in warrants as result but shows as a loss from an accounting standpoint. It also is not necessarily an ongoing loss"

"As reported on a cash flow and operational basis the company made money last quarter, several quarters ahead of schedule."

"The S1 filed today is directly related to the funding"
