There's no way IMO the powers that be allow us to return to a complete 1971-style gold standard. Think of what would happen if gold were repriced @ $10,000 an ounce. You wouldn't be able to find an available ounce of gold for sale in the open market. People would be hoarding it on a tremendous scale and when/if it did happen you could at that point say it is legal tender and find a way to use it the same way as fiat money.

I would love to see it happen, but I don't see it being allowed by the Elites of the world. Unless they have enough bought up to make it work for them.
