pbar - I can tell you from past experience with AZ stocks that what happened with this stock after the Phase 2a is not unique.
There was no way they could demonstrate efficacy in a trial this small with no control.
AZ stocks go up on unrealistic expectations and speculation. They always go up into results and they usually go down right after. The company said the primary objective was to determine the dosage.
What people should realize is most of the Alzheimer's trials to date have had more important figures in the science involved and had substantial funding. I'm not saying the drug can't work but the drug and company have little credibility and the odds of success are astronomically minuscule.
Buy low - sell high.
