Within hours of the false and misleading article, several law firms issued press releases announcing they were filing lawsuits for possible stock fraud.

That sounds familiar! I have seen many companies suffer that scenario, including NWBO.

In contrast, I was just reviewing the events leading up to Celldex and the Rintega trial failure but could not find the article or filing where a company spokesperson (CEO I think) stated that we (meaning the company) believe we have an approvable drug, meaning Rintega. A few weeks later, the Rintega trial was suspended for futility.

At the time I thought that the CEO's positive statement prior to the trial failure would be supreme fodder for law suits and expected the same rush to sue as NWBO had experienced. I think one firm published an intent to sue, but nothing like the avalanche of bogus suits that cropped up based on Buzdargate. Having read Sentiment's post today about other companies announcing good news based on priliminary results, and given the singling-out NWBO suffered from Buzdar's inappropriate admonishment, I am quite certain that I should purge all of my expectations for justice in a hopelessly unjust world.
